New Changes In Terror And Nothing More
December 9, 2008

Dear visitors dark, during these three days of bridge we've included some changes in our / your site that we hope always to the benefit both of us as you:
1) Ads By Google:
Indeed, with the sole intention of obtaining some revenue to be minimal for the maintenance and improvement of services that we offer in this web site we have located and discreet little annoying advertising from Google. The places where you can find such advertising is on the side panel of the blog down altogether after the file and when to enter in an article from the article and the comments area. As you can see are little areas like annoying and who knows there is something you see and you are interested.
How can you help us?
It is very simple if you see in advertising any topic that interests you do click on the ad and click that will provide us with a minimum income that will help us to continue offering the best terror to our visitors, listeners and viewers. The rest is logical because the more clicks will have more income and more improvements and services can integrate into the web.
2) New Banners In The side panels of the Blog:
We've added two spectacular banners on the side panel for subscription channels to our Itunes Audiocreaciones of our program and the ninth floor. In this way is clearer and quicker to spot for those who want to enjoy our content in iTunes or on your iPod and iPhone.

Interview by Ricardo Andres Islands Pons
June 17, 2008
We continue today with an interview of our partner Andres Pons manager at the Uruguayan Ricardo Islands. Which begins the interview:

Uruguay is a country not too well known to the genre of horror, sometimes a single man moves mountains and Ricardo Islands is already a landmark not only in his country if not one of the great film gives a very low budget straight to DVD.
Vampires, wolf men and liters of blood adorn a filmography which also allows social criticism in the midst of his killing.
AP: How did the world of cinema?
RI:
When he was 13 years wrote a script half-hour titled Possession, The Exorcist wave on a smaller scale but rather smaller scale ... ... I took him to the local TV station and ordered me to plant BONATO.
I returned with the same script when it was much older (16 years) and just ended the dictatorship, everybody was in a sort of Disney film in my country, so I told the channel: if conseguís about ten warning, you do the film. Okay, got 20 warning and made me the film. The protagonicé and addressed, (they said no mu ... nor was the end of the dictatorship, everyone was happy and flexible) ... The movie was filmed during the summer of 1985 and aired on March 20, 1986 ... around the world The watched because it was something rare and local ... Hence forward, was one film after another until today.
AP: Are you an actor, director, producer and director of course How can combine everything?
RI:
With much aware egocentrism. The fact that it is aware that aid is not stupid. I am a writer first, second actor, director and producer to the final third. The post of actor and writer will compete first in the list. Egocentrism versus creative spirit ... an ambivalent mixture of shit. Directing is a pleasant headache, but if I had a good director (or director, always work better with women than with men) at my side, maybe I just devoted to writing and acting. And I am a producer by necessity. Basically, I like being with my own sketches clown ... but as I found no circus, I put together the tent.
AP: I think I work in the U.S. How about experience?
RI:
The film is the film anywhere. I work in the U.S. has opened doors that did not have in South America, but at the same time there are restrictions that are related to the utilitarianism of a commercial corporation, I'm not governed in Uruguay.
AP: What do you think of the current terror?
RI:
It's like in neutral. There have been times and worst times of course much better. Is doing that lack good scripts and once you get to the place that CGI should have, or reinforce a story and not be a substitute for it.
AP: Do you which of their work is most proud of?
RI: I suppose that To Kill a Killer is one of my best films.
AP: How often by shooting a film?
RI:
Between fifteen and twenty days.
AP: What horror films you have left their mark?
RI:
The Exorcist, Amytiville, The Omen, Halloween, Dracula Langella ... The Glow.
AP: How do I get financing and distribution for a film so hard to sell?
RI:
More than anything by private investors who are hooked with my scripts.
AP: Would you be willing to produce other people?
RI:
For now, I doubt it. I get enough work to produce what I like ...
AP: What elements must have for you a good horror movie?
RI:
A well-told story and characters believable. If we do not believe in the characters, we no longer matter what happens to them and therefore you lose respect for the monster. It was fucked the party as they say ...
AP: Premiered at some point in cinemas?
RI:
Yes, here and in Uruguay. It feels very good to be there and be able to assess people's reactions compared to the big screen. Everything multiplies and contagious. For better or for worse.
AP: What is the biggest budget that could enjoy? What was your film cheaper?
RI:
The biggest is probably that I'm filming now: Macumba. Yet you can say that, because we are still spending ... he he
And the cheaper it is to have been any of those produced in Uruguay. I never got to spend more than a thousand dollars in my first films.
AP: What do you think of the Spanish terror?
RI:
I have not seen enough. Stories I liked to sleep ... There was not a very good chapter of vampires with Charo Lopez based on a story by Dostoievky. Well, Amenabar is good, too.
AP: Tell us about your upcoming projects
RI:
Probably a series on Macumba, on the axis characters from the movie that I'm rolling now. It will be like a sort of Latin Kolchak.
AP: Thank you for your time and wish him the best
RI: Likewise.
